Andre - Bass |
Born in Lviv Andriy moved to Canada at the age of 10. Growing up in Toronto he took classical guitar lessons throughout high-school and eventually joined a blues band as a bass player. He developed his foundation around the Toronto blues scene and as an active participant in the Ukrainian community was invited to be part of a Ukrainian folk band which later became known as Zapovid. Andriy loves many genres of music, he is an open minded person in life and as a musician. He is self-employed in the home renovation business, loves sports, reading and dreams of seeing the world... from a different planet.

Milla - Vocals |
Zapovid's front woman Milla was born in the city of Novovolynsk, where she studied classical piano at the Music School. She later moved to Berlin and studied at the Faculty of Economics and later became a member of pop group Cherona. In 2010, she emigrated to Canada, where she met some of the other band members and together they created Zapovid. In 2018, Milla took part in a cultural contest and won the title Miss Ukraine Toronto. Milla was always fond of music and always dreamed of a great scene. At the very moment, she is very enthusiastic about acting and is very fond of traveling, learning different cultures and sharing her own Ukrainian culture with others.

Mariusz - Keyboard, Accordion, Vocals |
Born in Poland in 1989, Mariusz came to Canada in 2009. Mariusz started performing when he was 7 years old. Since then he has been a member of various bands and musical projects in the Polish, Ukrainian, and broader Toronto community. While music is his second job, it is what he is most passionate about. He works as a Project Manager for a Canadian company in building maintenance. Mariusz’s greatest dream is to tour the world with his band Zapovid.

Nestor - Drums |
Nestor was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He started paying drums at the age of 10 and his first public festival performance as a child was at the early age of 11 at the Toronto Ukrainian Festival Youth Stage. Throughout his life he has always been very immersed in the Ukrainian Canadian Community by being part of Ukrainian Students' Clubs and Youth Organizations such as CYM. He has completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Project Management but has since then been putting much of his focus into his musical career. In most recent years he has also joined a Polish Canadian rock band called Kompot and has been working on various projects with other musicians. Nazdorovya! Party hard!
